Dec 2008 The euCAD Leonardo Project on Computer Aided Industrial Design kicked off in Kaunas, Lithuania.
Sep 2008 MECB Director to deliver lectures in the workshop Enhancing Business Performance through Innovation Management being organized by the Malta Federation of Industry.
Aug 2008

It is announced that MECB Ltd has been awarded a new Leonardo da Vinci project nicknamed euCAD concerning 'Amplifying Skills for European SMEs in Computer Aided Industrial Design'. In its award letter, the EU Commission stated that there were a total of 225 project proposals. euCAD will see MECB Ltd working with partners coming from Romania, Estonia, Portugal, UK and Lithuania.

July 2008 The Leonardo da Vinci project CECA in which MECB Ltd had participated was featured in Government's newsletter FOCUS Issue 38 which is widely disseminated in Malta.
March 2008 MECB Ltd partners with the German company Thomas Angele Technik GmbH to develop and offer specialized training courses.
Feb 2008 MECB Ltd launches a set of EU Funded courses taking place in 2008 and 2009 on the topic of Sustainable Innovation for An Enlarged EU .

Dec 2007

MECB Ltd takes part in a preparatory visit funded by EUPA (Malta) in Bucharest, Romania to develop a Leonardo Development of Innovation Project related to Computer Aided Design Technology called euCAD.
Sep 2007 MECB Ltd organized a one week EU Grundtvig 3 course on the topic of Integrated Sustainable Development at St Julians Malta, attended by a number of participants from across Europe. Photos.
July 2007 An article on MECB's involvement in the CECA EU project is featured in the UK Institution of Engineering Designers Journal (ISSN 00137898) issue Vol. 33, No. 4. Read Article.
July 2007 MECB Ltd staff to participate in the final euSDET project meeting taking place in Appledorm, The Netherlands.
July 2007 MECB completes an Innovation Management Techniques (IMT) related study of a number of Maltese SMEs as part of an EU Project .
June 2007 MECB runs a 4-Session Workshop for Malta Enterprise clients coming from a range of industries entitled Design Methods in Practice.

MECB hosts the EU project euSDET partners for a meeting held in Malta.

MECB completes the in-house TPM/Level 2 course at Methode Electronics Malta Ltd.

January 2006 Managing Director Jonathan C. Borg commences delivery of a short course on 'Innovtaive Product & Proccess Design' for clients of Malta Enterprise ranging from SMEs to multi-nationals.


2005

December 2005

MECB Managing Director Jonathan C. Borg participates in the euSDET EU project kick-off meeting held at Taormina, Italy. Dr Borg was interviewed by Radio Liberta on the role of MECB in helping EU Countries improved their Sustainable Development scenarios.
November 2005 MECB awarded an 18-month EU project to develop a course on ECDL for CAD. The project acronym is CECA.
October 2005 MECB awarded a contract by Methode Electronics Malta Ltd to deliver another in-house course on TPM (level 2).
August 2005 MECB, together with another 8 European partners was awarded a 24-month EU project to develop a course on Sustainable Development. The project acronym is euSDET.
