Malta Project Meeting: 16 - 17 November 2012

 
Introduction

The kick-off meeting of the JoyAR Grundtvig Learning partnership prjoect will be taking place in Bugibba, Malta between 16 and 17th November 2012. This means that participants will need to be here on Malta on the above dates and travel on other dates eg. on the 15th and 18th November.

 

This kick-off meeting is being jointly organized and hosted by Francis Fabri, Principal of Saint Theresa College (Malta) & Jonathan C. Borg, Director MECB Ltd (Malta).

The project meeting will take place at the Dolmen Resort Hotel in Bugibba. For room rates & reservation details, please check further below.

How to reach Malta:

 

Malta has daily connection flights with major European airports including London Heathrow, Gatwick, Munich, Frankfurt & Rome. Also, low cost airlines such has Easyjet and Ryanair operate to Malta from a number of destinations - so please check with your travel agent accordingly.
 

Once in Malta, local transportation (www.arriva.com.mt) from the airport to the hotel can be booked at a separate price by yourselves with the hotel directly - see the hotel booking form for details. Alternatively one can either take and share a taxi to the hotel or make use of the local public transport. Local public transport is cheap but may take long.

Hotel Booking:

Hotels in Malta vary in ratings, service quality and price. We are pleased to announce that we have managed to get a good deal on half-board basis at the Dolmen Resort Hotel in the seaside town of Bugibba. Rooms are available either as single or twin (the latter for a maximum of 2 people each).

Please note that you are kindly requested to make your hotel booking arrangements directly with the Dolmen Hotel as per details enclosed in the downloadable HOTEL booking form. As Malta is a tourist destination, please make sure that you avail yourself of these room rates in the Dolmen Hotel by booking not later than Friday 28th September 2012. If JoyAR partners want to make a lump sum payment by bank transfer to cover for a group of participants, please contact Ms. Caroline Camilleri from Dolmen Hotel whose details are available in the downloadable hotel room booking form. The coach/bus will be leaving this hotel for all project related events. During the workshop, WIFI will be available too.
