This service resulted in the formation of the consultancy bureau MECB Ltd which Jonathan directs and manages. MECB has now evolved to also being involved in a number of EU projects. In 2003, Jonathan was awarded a Medal of Appreciation at a ceremony held in the House of Commons (London) for contributions he made as Malta's Branch Secretary for the UK Institution of Engineering Designers.
